| We
use absolute black marble and granite as they generate the best results
when engraved by a laser. As the laser moves across the marble it
"micro-fractures" the surface crystals creating ligher areas that
refract light and produce a black and white image that will last for
decades. |

For best results when submitting your photo please note the following:
1. Email
a digital photo as a .jpg
2. Size of the photo is not as important as resolution!
3. The quality of the original directly affects the final
product. (A blurry photo will generate a blurry engraving)
4. If you are scanning a photo, please clean the scanner bed
and dust your photo first. Dust specks will create white spots in
the engraving. (We can photo edit these but we sometimes miss a few*)
300 DPI is a good scanner setting, but we can work with less.
5. Professional Photos - Please provide written permission from
the photographer before asking us to engrave it, or ask the photographer to email
us permission. Normally they are happy to do this as I recognize their
work on the back with a photo credit.
6. Please include any text you would like added on either the
front or the back of the engraving*. If you have a "preferred" font that you
would like us to use, let us know. Otherwise, we will use what font we believe
looks best and email you a simulation for approval before we engrave it.
7. If you are unable to email a photo, please mail us your original and
we will convert it and return it with the finished product.
8. Pricing includes up to 69 characters either on the front or back of
your personalized marble product.
